Orthotic shoes

Space for therapy

Many people often find wearing a leg orthosis restricts their freedom of movement. Our orthotic shoes are therefore designed to ensure an optimal fit for the foot, orthosis and therapeutic shoe. The sturdy heel cap in combination with the raised and flexible shaft edge ensures a good fit and high stability.

But an ideal fit is not all that matters. In everyday life in particular, it is extremely important that our orthotic shoes are easy to put on and take off. With that in mind, many of our models have a tab to simplify putting on and removing them.
But that’s not all: the extended tongue opening in many models makes it possible to open the entire shoe very wide.

If further adjustments are required for the orthosis, they can be made individually by an orthopaedic technician. Specific orthopaedic measures and additions to ensure the feet are optimally cared for can be implemented on all orthotic shoes.

Available in the widths TN5, TN8, TN9 and TN12. Where each foot requires different care, shoes of differing widths and sizes can be combined without difficulty.

Our orthotic shoes: a combination of proven medical functionality and a fresh appearance

The right footwear is an important addition to an individually produced orthosis. Shoes worn by people wearing an orthosis not only have to satisfy certain key requirements, but must also make walking and running easier.

For the reasons we remain in close contact with our customers with the aim of making continuous improvements and refinements:
  • New orthotic shoe width TN12
  • Orthotic shoes for joint orthoses
  • Flexible outsole

Due to their material quality and shape, conventionally manufactured shoes are not up to meeting the requirements of orthoses. That is why we recommend our therapeutic shoes.

Orthotic shoe width TN12

To provide for large-sized orthotics, together with craftspeople we have developed the width TN12 for our orthotic shoes.

All TN12-width shoes are supplied with two insoles with approx. 40°/50° Shore A hardness. This allows the volume to be adjusted through the removal of one or both of the insoles.

In this way, the external appearance is not affected. For one-sided treatment, the unaffected foot can be fitted with a different width and shoe size. This is also the case for all other TN widths in the orthotic shoes sector.

Flexible sole

Ever thinner and more flexible materials are being used for treatment in the orthopaedics trade. With that in mind, we have introduced an even more flexible sole design for orthotic shoes.

All the shoes labelled ‘Flexible’ in the tables are particularly bendable. However, this has no negative effect on the therapeutic effectiveness of the orthotics.
